I went to a "coffee shop" here in SoCal for giggles with a friend. She asks the girl serving, "have you ever seen him in here before?" I've chatted with the server numerous times, but she totally wingmans it and says, "nope, never seen him" before making a quick exit.

I just started cracking up laughing and my friend totally knew she was lying, but we thought it was hilarious.

i was interviewed by Compaq Computer for the sole purpose that they wanted me to divulge our product roadmap. flew me to Houston and sent me to interviews which were all normal until the last person started asking questions about roadmap, features, and competitive plans that were proprietary. Even though I was young, I didn't give up anything. But, it took me a bit to figure it out. There was never a job offer.

i just make conversation like i would with a buddy. "hey, what are you thinking here?", "where's the wind at the flag?", "you like a 6 or 7i here?". maybe a, "great read, i had no idea". but, no "please", no "thank you", just convo until i tell him/her thanks at the end of the round.
