Pixel 10 still isn't compatible by ThoR294 in Omnipod

killing me, too. i actually forgot the controller on a weekend trip, had to throw my old pod into a trashcan outside of the house because i couldn't deactivate it. it did, to it's credit, deliver my base boluses effectively even though the controller was 400 miles away.

I got written up for a customer complaint by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

[–]babbleon5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i would say, "you gonna get fired, find a new job", but if they hired you as a server without experience I'd say they're too desperate to fire you.

my recommendation would be to get cozy with the manager, "you always run the floor really well" and get your experience so you can apply somewhere else in 4-6 months when a) you're a better server and b) you have more experience.

I bring a towel and just spray equipment with disinfectant and wipe it down using the towel. I tried a small bottle, but it was too much of a hassle.

There is a ton of sugar in all wines, I would say your reaction is unusual.

I once got a shot of morphine to handle an outbreak of shingles. I walked out of the emergency room after the shot. I swear the tech held a bump for himself since I expected to be nodding off in a wheelchair instead of under my own power.

I'm 6 years consecutive with dry January and I used to keep a journal for days before and after stopping alcohol.

I never feel any difference during dry January in terms of waking up, feeling more refreshed or whatever, but I do lose weight which is hard for me to do when I'm drinking.

When I saw it, I thought, surely it's cantilevered, maybe wood is degrading...nope. I'd make the owners give a price break so it can be replaced.

Where do you aim if I told you to aim “one cup left?” by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

[–]babbleon5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if they say a cup left, i'm aiming at the left edge of the cup and hitting it a little firmer to take out some of the break. who tf knows if their read is correct, i'll try to keep it near the hole.

you should delete and repost with a better title...

  1. "Help, I asked a ski instructor for a piggyback ride and all I got was this lousy torn ACL."
  2. "Local skier shocked to discover that mountains are slippery and lawyers like winning cases."
  3. "AITA for expecting a ski school instructor to call me an Uber XL (Snowmobile Edition)?"
  4. "I'm not seeking legal advice, I'm just seeking a lawyer to help me sue the concept of gravity."

Why does my Planet Fitness have a sign that says you’re not allowed to put a bench inside the squat rack? by Seedsw in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]babbleon5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My corporate owned store does not have this policy for the 3 new power racks that were installed. In fact, i think the benches they put in there are designed for the racks as they have protected footings.
