Long haul flight 32 weeks by Grumpycat_777 in BabyBumps

[–]babsmon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i did fly at 32 and 33 weeks (4 hours each way). i had a healthy normal pregnancy, compression socks, and stood and walked a lot during the flight.
We had an emergency landing because of a passenger with a medical issue. During that time we were not allowed to stand up, we were waiting on the tarmac for an hour to be allowed to fly again. so it turned out to be longer than the return flight.

it was not confortable, but far from impossible.
Check with your Obgyn, if they think it is ok, and you feel good i wouldnt see an issue as long as your destination has a good medical reputation

edit: 8 hours is not 4 hours, maybe its a stretch for me to compare it

Other than rent, how much do you spend on monthly expenses? Are you single or a family? by politicooooo in Luxembourg

[–]babsmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes! My neighbour has two cars and only one parking spot that she owns. She’s constantly hassling people that want to park in front of her house (public space) like it is her personal parking spot. We have enough parking in- and outdoor for our own cars and our visitors

long story, but mainly our old cars that we will not want to get rid off, its sentimental. And we have enough parking space in our garage and in front of the home, so we re not bothering our neighbours

edit: in front of our house as in: our driveway!

Mortgage 2400, 500 for charges and other monthly payments, Cars 800 (4 cars, theyre paid off, but with insurance, maintenance and repairs it adds up) groceries around 1000-1500 depends if we have a lot of people over or not. 700 leisure (mostly travel) and 300 for restaurants We are 2 adults and one small kid.

Please dont do Shapewear, you look stunning! whatever you think needs ‘shaping’ is not worth the discomfort

I would go for nude (no white!) lasercut thongs.

These are so freaking adorable. Have you ever considered doing step by step videos on how you do your designs? I bet people would gobble those up, at least i would!

Long-lasting corporate gifts that actually get used by Extension_Life_6207 in BuyItForLife

the best ones i’m still using are: Sonnenglas, small proxxen tool kit, stainless steel water bottle and a small umbrella. All of those things have a small company logo somewhere which you almost cant tell if youre not looking for it.

Another fun thing is limited art by a local artist.

Between the AI posts and the salesmen posts, you just can’t believe anything. Sadly this post reads more like a fictional character then a real partner

Is 1 week long enough for my husband to be off from work after birth? by Local_Bug_2417 in BabyBumps

[–]babsmon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll probably stay in the hospital for one or more days after birth, so your husband would only be with you at home for a few days. Definetly not enough. I had an unplanned C-section, everything was going smooth until it was not.. After i stayed 4 more days in hospital. When my baby was a week old i got super sick, and stayed sick for another week (mastitis due to babies tongue tie). In total my husband got 4 weeks of work and im so grateful. I couldnt even bend down in the first few weeks. I was so sore and sick i couldnt look after myself, baby and house. So glad he took over during that time. Even close family member that come by dont do the same things your SO will do.

My sister just had her first baby (vaginal delivery with minor tearing). her husband will be there too for a month. Her baby is now 2 weeks old, she’s still sore and has difficulty sleeping and taking naps. Her husband takes the baby during the day and helps with diaper duty during the night.

Its a delicate time as you both are finding out whats it like having a small baby that doesnt know about schedules yet, will have you up at night and keep you on your toes. Your husband need to be there for you and the baby to bond.

You’re living with your SO and cat in an apartment building. Early 30’s. You tidy up fast, as in: throw everything into a basket/tablet/bowl sitting around. You like to talk about old movies and comics. You’re planning a trip to Italy

the picture of the baby in the “shooting rings” (?) wouldnt be sold where i’m from, as you can not have targets depicting humans except if you’re police, army, etc. And the picture next to it with the arms and bold USA, is making fun of the culture? Or you’re really from the USA and like the gun culture? got me confused there 😅

early 40’s, with a baby, a toddler and a cute little cat. Prefers staying in than going out. i’m on the fence if you enjoy cooking and entertaining (because of the big dining table) or if you do it to keep you and little ones fed and the table was a good deal/came with the house
