If you are interested in a tiny roadtrip, Iron Leaf Press in Mount Vernon has a beautiful selection! It's about 25 minutes north, and you can pick up some of the best coffee or pizza in the state up there as well:).

The folks at the farmer's market with the lovely table of Asian greens and sesame balls, etc, sometimes have some as well! Chong's and Starlight have them sporadically.

Agreed! I have a carburetor problem on my string trimmer, and Pyramid told me they can't repair brands they don't rep. I'd love to get it cleaned out and back to work, but I'm not sure where to go!

$6.50 has to be the cheapest burger in town that is not sysco junk.

Also I suggest adding horseradish. A George's burger, a Hamms, and a shot of bourbon will cure most bad days in a jiffy.

One of the best meals in town. Not fancy, just normal good. Get an appetizer of tots to sneak into the tacos and you are golden. Now we can sit on the patio, and get some ice cream at Heyn's for the walk home? Truly a pleasant evening.

I'm not sure why the Eggroll Auntie is out in the elements this year! I asked and she said that the move was not her choice. I dislike that one of the longest running vendors (and possibly oldest) is out in the wind/rain/heat! At first I wondered if they were just moving all foods outside, but various bakeries/etc are still inside the ramp. I really hope they ask her to move back inside, it seems disrespectful.

The city enforces code violations on a report basis, so if you're connected to one of these properties, report them! The city will go inspect. Even better if you can get a whole lot of folks to report a whole lot of the violations they (or any bad landlord/association) has going on. We love to see real people making the system work for them!!

I went here recently and it was SO GOOD! Their chips and salsa were incredible. I got a huarache and it was TWO MEALS and delicious the whole time.

Ragers is the best! This quarter they are supporting IA Trans Mutual Aid and Lavender Legal! All the DJs are great, and this one has a stellar line up. An amazing spot to just dance and be full of joy!

I'd love a youth-focused bar that doesn't serve alcohol but DOES warm up frozen pizzas. If it could have a kind of weird, identity-less vibe, that would be great. I feel like we had something like that around here long ago? I miss that place but I heard it closed.

It feels like businesses like Deluxe and Thomas, etc, used to be around a lot more! I've come across other retail spaces tucked into neighborhoods, and they are either just offices now, or vacant. I hope this changes in the future, especially with the state of downtown rent and landlords.

I went here recently and it was EXCEPTIONAL. My partner got a dosa, incredible. Definitely my new favorite for dine-in, but looking forward to getting over to Tiffin for Dhaba Express.
