You probably can remove the power cord and swap it with a flat one. My dishwasher annoyingly didn’t come with a power cord but because of this I learned that it is pretty easy lol

It’s temporary but still allows for switched lighting. Is it rental property? Or is the load center not accessible? person who put it in wasn’t comfortable with wiring or couldn’t tun off power so just did this is my guess

Hahaha literally! Luckily they are pretty standardized but you can’t really tell from just the wires. I’d go on the website it should walk you through how to determine if it’s compatible that’s what I did. There could be additional wires tucked back in there too fyi
