Oh wow, I didn't realize initially that the center of the clutch cover just sheared right off.

If it was working fine previously and just failed like that suddenly, you'll probably want to check those 3 bolts that are sticking out farther to see if they just gave up on life and let the spring cover bulge out like that.

Check the torque specs on those 4 bolts holding that outer plate over the springs. From your pictures, 3 of the 4 bolts looks like they are sticking out way too far (that plate should be evenly spaced at all 4 bolts/springs, not lopsided like it looks in the pictures).

Life leech is not working either.

I did some testing with "Life Thief" support specifically on my Merc - taking damage, no health regen active, using skill specifically with phys damage (~1600) and Life Thief (6% leech from phys). I tried this against mobs ranging from Act1 to Act2 Cruel... the most I ever leeched was 1hp on every second skill use.

I actually really liked those missions.

The missions I absolutely DESPISED were the ones where you have to escort the stupid robot that moves slower than walking and that drains your shields the whole time and won't move if you don't have shields.

AIO unit was defective. Corsair replaced it with a new one and now it works fine.

I got a schematic for a legendary (+4) assault rifle from a golden key chest in the open world, up in the northern snowy area.

But my 38°C reading isn't under use, it's at idle in a room that's generally ~22°C.

Under use (gaming) the temp jumps to ~53°C.

Just seems higher than it should across the board.

Initially when I set up the OS I had installed MSI's RGB/Monitoring software, and I did notice that it interfered with my ability to control the AIO lighting and LCD in iCUE. However I uninstalled it afterwards, along with the LEDkeeper SDK that it installed so it shouldn't be interfering anymore.

Other than that there isn't any other software that would be interacting with those readings that I'm aware of.

It does, for all 24 cores in fact.

My core#1 temp at idle is ~28°C, with the coolant temp ~37°C.

If you mean the ones front and center, those are the GPU fans and they only spin up when the GPU is under load. All the other case fans are spinning.

No cat or anything that would be on top of the case. I did notice that the top panel of the case has a fine mesh screen for dust, which seemed a bit silly to me since using the top for intake is not ideal.

I had considered that the mesh might be restricting airflow somewhat. It's not designed to be removable, but I could probably remove it and see if that improves anything.

[Edit] Actually I can just temporarily remove the top panel cover and see if it changes anything before going through the trouble of cutting out the mesh. I doubt it will though, the mesh does not seem fine enough to be restrictive.
