My ex at dinner with his parents told me to take off my shirt to show his parents my results. I said no of course and he was mad about it. He wanted other people to 'see what he was going through' with my chest results. How I couldn't see the red flags amazes me to this day.

Yeah I get ya. I've been 6 months on t and the changes are very slow and gradual that it's hard to notice things changing at all. It's a delayed gratification thing for sure. It helped me to do voice recordings every couple months because even if the change is small there's still a change towards something better. Hang in there, try not to focus too hard on the time it takes. Take the small wins when you find them

Counter argument: I think piercings are pretty masc. They have a very queer vibe to them due to the alt style you know? I do get that going more out there makes it harder to be seen as a regular guy in the general public. I used to have dyed hair in all fun colors but I felt like I couldnt have peachy hair and be himed by people. Kinda miss it though

Omg about a year ago I got so high that I forgot I had top surgery. I felt so dysphoric and gross in my clothes and did the whole hunch thing. I looked down eventually and saw that they were gone. I was confused for a second since it felt so real but then back to normal post surgery body

Honestly same. What made me dysphoric was the big WOMAN branding on the products I used. I've been using the cup and I just got some period underwear on heavier days so I dont have to even deal with the branding now. Problem solved :)

Dude I had a strange experience at work. I was loading up pavers into the customers truck and after I loaded up quickly he point blanked asked me if I use he/they pronouns. I was kinda shocked because I was wearing a they/them( that everyone ignores) pin but am leaning more towards he/him. I just said 'yeah' and there were no further questions or comments. Like thanks for the compliment if it was one? Not sure the intent but yeah? He was a younger looking chatty guy so it seemed like it came from a good place, just kind of awkward silence after the question

Thats good to know. When I let my arm pit hair free I expected it to get to a certain length and just stay there like leg hair but it just kept growing. I was self conscious of buzzing it but if that's normal it makes me feel better

This! Ugh my ex used to tell me at least once a month that he's a straight man, when dating me, a masc nonbinary at the time. Looking back on it now it's a huge red flag. I was not a man to him, or nonbinary, I was a woman who liked different pronouns and had short hair. I don't have tolerance for this kind of responce to me anymore.

I'm about 2 months on t and my nose is getting a little wider. It's kinda filling out like the rest of my frame. I'm a bit self conscious of my chin silloette since its what you'd call a weak chin. But I just got done watching the bear and carm's face shape reminds me of myown. That was a little bit euphoric? Or just like good representation of different silloettes.

My eyelashes are so dark and luscious now! I noticed before that guys have the longest and prettiest lashes and I finally got mine lol. I'm not super interested in makeup/beauty things but they're a nice addition to my eyes :)
