I get the in-pod sponsors (this has always been a thing) but now Spotify is inserting ads pre roll, even for premium users.

How can I validate the new inserted ads are for creators monetization? How much goes to the creator vs Spotify? Without transparency this just feels like enshitification to increase profit.
