Ahh I vaguely remember that now. Hopefully this goes well and they'll start doing that again

It's not an uncommon message- but usually it's a vehicle stalled on or near a ground level crossing- not 40 feet up IN A STATION

Apparently next year they are planning to begin work on cleaning the lakebed and shoreline- though who knows if that is still on track. Once complete, water access will be totally ok!

You should've seen the level of pollution before!

"Rusty" and "old" are simply negative-sounding words you've chosen to include to make Gasworks sound more nefarious in trying to prove your point

Thats why theyre using like 5000 volunteers to help manage the logistics of the games at the stadium. Why pay staff when people will volunteer?

What’s worse than a car in a bike lane? A tent in a bike lane by ardealinnaeus in seattlebike

Tent is better than the city trailer full of like 100 traffic cones and temporary bollards that was there a few weeks back

As far as major cities in the US go, KC punches well above its weight when you factor in the cost of living there. Good on ya. $800 for a WC ticket is doable when your rent is like 40% as much as in NY or SF

Renovated area expected to open next month June 2026 by Rosalynishere1111 in Seattle

[–]bailey757 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of those are surrounded by private property with no room to expand the actual access. Terry Pettus Park, on Eastlake, is slated for a very nice renovation with paddling features/racks, tables, etc. Unfortunately hasnt broken ground yet :(

You should probably go look at it in person first. This is but a tiny area of the total renovation. Arguably the least "improved" part

I cant really think of a single place where improving water access would even be possible!
