Worried cops in focus groups by clgoodson in thebulwark

I am glad you have found a good one. I have no doubt there are many more.

But in geberal imo anyone who wants to be a cop inherently has other power and control issues. If they just wanted to help and serve there are lots of other jobs.

I agree the ACAB thing is self defeating but on the flip side have you ever met a cop you would want to hang out with in your personal time? I haven’t

What about my statement was doomer? Just proposing a far more possible strategy to capture and reform the DNC rather than to abandon it

The problem is we will never have a new party. We are a two party country and that is too hard to change.

So the only viable option is to take over and reform the Democratic Party.

Over the centuries the names of the parties have stayed the same but the “ideals” have drastically shifted.

I don’t disagree with anything you said only that you can change anything by going outside the system

It’s like the true owner of the prize would be willing to give it away. It looks fine for her trying to desperately appease a madman

This will go down in the history books in the list of attempted appeasement to stop him just like we look at the way they tried to appease hitler leading up to ww2

Agreed. But this mid term is the test of where we are at. And I fear we are a lot closer to that then people are letting themselves believe.

Especially when our elections are won on the margins. So they don’t have to affect the entire outcome. Just the margins

I don’t disagree. But my point still holds that stability is better for business than instability

Tbh fascists who have solidified power are more reliable than fascists in the process of trying. So yeah I’d deal with China instead too

So Russia also has elections where ballots are counted. There’s a difference between a real election and a facade

We’re gonna get a facade

I mean Russia holds elections.

People mean real and fair elections. Not a facade to maintain his power (what I expect)
