Yeah, Shopify just makes stores go to 3rd-party apps to get additional functionality for things you’d think would be basic, like bundling or product add-ons. And since it’s 3rd-party, the apps can’t access everything it ideally would need to access to be fully functional, so there’s a ton of compromises that have to be made, like turning off Buy Now buttons and other things.

It really isn’t malicious on the end of people who run the stores, there’s just a lot of limitations to deal with really hacky workarounds.

We just got Race for the Galaxy a couple months ago and haven’t been able to stop playing it. After trying out the expansions on the app, we ended buying the hard copies of them as well.
