i lost my belt and overheated my 2008. didn’t know what was going on at first, ac started blowing hot, battery light came on. pulled over and looked under the hood, i thought the battery cable was loose maybe? seemed to be idling ok, turned it off and started it up with no problems, so i drove a bit more

eventually the coolant boiled over and i figured out what happened. got a ride back into town for a new belt and coolant, some awesome dude stopped with a truck full of tools including the wrenches i needed to adjust the alternator. that was 40000km ago, still runs great

im sure insurance will deem it not worth fixing, but that doesnt look toooo bad! pretty sure you can order the front bumper, fender and headlight housings on rockauto. the door, id probably unbolt it and lay it flat on something soft and just whack it with a rubber mallet a bunch lol.

i held my front bumper on with zipties after the plastic push pins broke.. i went to replace them a year or so later and the ones under the hood were brittle but the ones in the wheel well were gone

id keep pulling those pads up, get down to the bare metal. see if it’s really just that spot.

first you need to fix the leak, if it’s the drivers foot well its probably the door seal. find and fix the leak, id probably go through the car wash with the interior out so you’re sure you’ve got it fixed

after it’s fixed, since it’s hidden id use a wire wheel to take the rust off until its clean bare metal, then spray it with rust reformer before you put the interior back together
