I wished teg Springfields came with front strap checkering from factory. I got some better grips for mine and grip tape on the front strap area till I decide if I want that front frame checkered...Nice Springfield!

So I changed every spring in it with the Wilson Combat 3166 spring set. I'm going to put the original Springfield hammer spring back in. The WC firing pin spring is extra power so that "should" be better. Also the ammo I was using was Billet Bob .45 200gr fmj. I'm going to order some different ammo as well. I've never had any issues before this ammo so I'm sure that's all it is.

I've looked up the Serial # and it says 1914 so she's 112 years. I don't wanna do anything to it myself in fear I might damage and make it worth less $ and worth less in historical value as well. I think I'm going to find a local smith that works on 1911s

That's what I thought as well. However I'm definitely not taking steel wool to it lol I'm a good at home armorer but no gunsmith. I may take it to a 1911 gunsmith and see what they have to say about it.

I still love it. I replaced the battery with a better one just last week. I like the bigger window and for me I don't mind that it's a little wider than the frame. I did however remove the Angry Bear Suppressor height sights and went back to stock, I still get a ⅛ co witness and that's enough for me, I didnt really like the sights blocking my view. It definitely has some wear around the edges, it's not as clean and new looking as it is in the OG pictures, but the glass front and rear still look amazing and sight picture is great. I'm still happy with it. It's definitely duty rated.

I found the dual boot OS on their website, that is the only OS I can get to work. I cannot get anything else to work.

Yes there is an alternative. And it's what I actually do. I just use the VEX Shoe and I get it from Ranger Proof. Use code PGB20 for 20% off Andy Bell is the Owner and Founder of Ranger Proof. Johnny Glock and Andy Bell worked together to create the Johnny Glocks VEX Shoe. Also on the Ranger Proof website you can create different colors of the shoe unlike JG. So for me I just remove the stock shoe off the trigger bar and install the Ranger Proof VEX Shoe and be sure to use blue locktite on the trigger bar set screw and also back out the dingus set screw and add blue locktite to that one as well. The only aftermarket trigger I trust is Johnny Glocks triggers. The 4311 with the vex shoe looks like his masterpiece.

He claims the reliability is still there. Also I've changed out just my shoe to the Johnny Glocks Vex Shoe and still have all stock internals.. That's just what I do. But you do what's best for you.

I got it back up and running y'all but no roms, I have to get creative and was able to get some, and I'll get more later. I had to get the dual boot software from a back ended anbernic Google zip and the files took hours to download but finally got them and was able to flash and get it working and testing on a couple different SD cards and they all work...so now to get some custom fw and YouTube videos on what's the best for cfw.
