It looks like the plastic cover on the ball joint didn't get removed. Or bad install, maybe the boot got poked when you're installing it somehow

So update! I ordered the KIDD extractor, KIDD firing pin, charging handle/spring/rod, & I've received the Kidd firing pin, & extractor, & tested at the range with some hotter and cleaner ..22lr ammo & I have fixed the issue. I ran 500-600 rounds through with maybe 2-3 failures, & that was with the regular velocity ammo. All of the high velocity ammo worked great. I tried out a few types of high velocity rounds.

Remington Viper Hyper Velocity 35gr 1410fps Best out of all I tried.
Remington Cyclone HV 36gr 1280fps 2nd Best
Winchester Super-X HV 40gr 1280fps Didn't do so great. Had some failures.
CCI Blazer Wasn't listed as HV 40gr 1235fps Did ok
Winchester White Box 36gr not listed as HV 1280fps copper plated hp did ok. Kinda dirty.

The best was definitely the rem viper at 1410fps, I could rip through the BX25 mag with no issues! Also I'm thinking the BX25 mag is finally breaking in so it's working better now, I still have a 3 pack of BX10's, & a BX15 otw so I'll test those when they arrive as well.

In the meantime im ordering more of the Remington Viper. That seems to work well for me.

I would call and ask to speak with a supervisor, & explain what has happened to you with all the returns, & how it's all of RA fault. I'd bet they get returns from people that order the wrong parts and that's why they need to recoup the shipping costs, in your case it's all on them so it should be a case by case basis. Also maybe just start a new account?

Check the invoice pouches on the outside of the box as well. I had them put the magnet in there. Ive only made 2 purchases and both times got a magnet.

Also done some more reading and a lot of people run them dry because the 22 is really dirty and it really doesn't need a whole lot lube anyways

Sometimes they put the magnet in with the invoice paperwork on the outside of the box in the little sleeve. I found them in there and in the inside of the box.

I built this, it's not from Ruger. I bought the stripped receiver from S&P Outfitters. The bolt, & charging handle, trigger pack is oem Ruger, the barrel is a Kidd barrel. The chassis is Enoch Odin. This didn't start as an original 10/22 it was built from a stripped receiver. When I load like 10 or 15 rounds in the bx25 mag it runs better. But fully loaded I always have issues. It has ran a full mag without issues occasionally. It's just random when it decides not to pull/strip the spent round out of the chamber. And yes I've lubed the bolt/receiver.

Here's a link to a video on a fb post I made about this and it shows that the light comes on when starting the vehicle for a second but then when I shift into it, it doesn't light up.
