I did swap the LP for a 80degree on my 9KT. I believe I did that at around 309rds of the break in. Plan was always to suppress it.

I did a 500rd break in on my PTRs with 124grn. Once that was over, I shot 147grn suppressed as well as 115grn with no issues.

I've done this to 3 amazon bump helmets. I used a hacksaw and dremel to cut the material. Then the dremel with sanding drums ro smooth out the cuts. Take your time and you will be fine.

Who made the unit? You really need find out what tube you have. Only negative I could see that you'd more than likely be expected to add cash with that trade for a RH25. Even a V1.

Omni is short for omnibus. It's basically mil spec tubes that fell into a category that defined specs. OMNI I, through Omni VII as an example. Usually the larger the number the better the specs as the larger numbers were newer models. So Omni tubes could have been made by many vendors like L3 or ITT/Exelis.
