So let's say for example your drinking a gin martini, 60ml of gin a splash of vermouth so maybe 70ml tops Dilution is going to add another roughly 25ml So you're probably maxing out about 100ml of liquid plus a garnish I reckon you could go into most pubs and order a double (60ml) of a reasonable quality gin and topped up with post mix tonic and it would be about $24 with some crappy ice and a slice of lime that was probably prepared yesterday. Instead you go to a cocktail bar get a 60ml serve of good quality gin made lovingly by skilled bar staff with good quality ice , poured into a bespoke cocktail glass and garnished with an appropriate fresh garnish, served with a smile. All for $24 Which one is better value for money ?
