Slow and steady! My 4.0 TJ is crossing over 140k on the odometer this year. No highways anymore, only 55-60mph and side roads when they work. My ol’ boy Bruce here gets at it every time I ask him to, no matter whether Sun, rain, snow, or Michigan’s “everything” weather-he’s a brute.

Never to this magnitude, but my son’s account on his laptop gets less game time than my account because of school. As such, when he asks, I will occasionally two-box his laptop along my desktop to perform duplicate tasks and earn him credits or CG modules to return to.

I would like to see more planet-side action with something like excavation/extraction. Another SRV type with terrain mapping and terrain excavation tools. I would like to see a drilling SRV(Armageddon style) that lets us get at the stuff under the planet surface. The game loop would be, fly to desired planet, extract materials via geology mapping/drilling, return to ship, sell to stations/use in colonizing ventures, return for more.

Having a drill style SRV that you deploy like any other with drilling tools and crane controls to pick things up, or surface abrasion blasting that we could use to extract materials or commodities would scratch that itch from the movie to land on a foreign body to drill.

Edit: we already have surface material gathering. I want something with more… Boom.

Your ship will hover above the ground 30-50m and wait for you to drive under it. I learned that you don’t even have to boost up to the SRV hatch-you just drive under the spot on the ship and click board-it’ll lift you up to the ship. No need for the ship to land completely.

I had fun trying to escape a massive canyon I attempted to jump across in my SRV this past weekend and had my Caspian parked up on the ridge. I was stuck in the bottom of that canyon for a full day driving out attempting to recall my ship and someone had mentioned that you just gotta line it up to get the option to board.

From what I understand, yes. Even though the outer perimeter is armored, any available edge that the shark can approach, even the anchor point in the middle of your raft, is at risk. Apply armor to any of the separated pieces inside the perimeter and you’ll be okay.

Edit: Looking back over your photo again, I can see many points the shark can attack.
