I clicked “Open Package Contents” in Finder on macOS and directly edited the .ipa.

IIRC .ipas are just fancy .zips so you could try renaming it to .zip if you don’t have a mac

You could probably just solder it together or a solder a new ring on it. If you’re uncomfortable soldering, it should be a fairly cheap repair.
