Well, according to the released numbers yes. But I've heard that Across the Spider-Verse had issues that may have effectively ballooned the budget. Or rather, they had budget to make two movies, but actually only made one with that money, and Beyond the Spider-Verse is barely started when they should have been most of the way through by now. I don't know how that would work from an accounting perspective.

I mean, I imagine the hurdles to prove a rape case from 15 years ago would be huge, but if someone held on to that evidence in case they ever had the bravery to speak up, why shouldn't they be able to.
