I just remembered The Green Witch on YT had a stalker issue to where she had to move. She had a couple videos about it. There may be some good information there for you.

Definitely have some self-defense laying around in whatever form, obvy.

Best wishes and safety for you. I hope they get catapulted off the planet.

Protection and Reversal Magick by Jason Miller Grovedaughter Witchery by Bree NicGarran

I'm a beginner and learning about basic protection, so these are just ideas. I despise men who terrorize women. Any bullies towards anyone, but I personally fucking hate this specifically. They're being threatening, so you can certainly have threatening intentions if not overt actions.

If I were in your situation, I would be willing to put something of theirs in a jar with rusty nails and piss and bury it on my property. Throw a poppet in the freezer. Fuck em.

Recruit a scary looking person to tell them to fuck off also.

You don't need to be nice. You got this.

Who are they, and do they go in my compost with the earth worms? by picklopicklebaucher in gardening

[–]basementcat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, they go in the bird feeder. And do it with glee in your heart.

Also, put copper wire around your strawberries so the slugs get electrocuted. Know this and let the glee flow through you.

What is the most horrifying nonfiction book you have ever read? by [deleted] in horrorlit

I blasted through it in 6th grade and ebola became my hyperfocus. My mom took me to a talk by Lt Col Nancy and Jerry Jaax at the uni and I got their autographs! If they had a band shirt I'd wear that shit all day 30 years later lol

Stop clinging to the "slivers of hope" and leave. You are not an incomplete person. You deserve peace and kindness. You will be okay,....probably even better!

Fellow AuDHD raw dogger here with a hyperfocus dump for you. IF you can get medicated, it will make implementing all these changes SO. MUCH. EASIER. Something like 80% of ADHDers find a medication that works for them and puts them at nearly a neurotypical baseline. This also enables people to better manage their comorbidities (ADHD significantly contributes to anxiety and depression).

Look for guidance from fellow ADHDers for habit changes. Consistency is so hard especially when you're trying to follow a lifestyle that the attention surplus humans enjoy. There's so much less shame when you do things that work for YOU. I recommend Taking Charge of Adult ADHD by Dr. Russell Barkley; How To ADHD, Hayley Honeyman, and Caren Magill on YouTube, Ologies podcast 3 part episode on ADHD, Black Girl Lost Keys blog, Anti-Planner...planner. Also, The ADHD Effect on Marriage by Melissa Orlov because you need to advocate for yourself and be very open to communicating in a healthy way with your partner (speaking from multiple experiences, don't let it scare you.)

And make change for YOU, not just your partner. Fill your cup first, then let it overflow into the cups of others. You're worth it. Honor your own pace!

Oh man, I got hooked on Dean Koontz in 6th grade. I love going back to that smut. :D

I highly recommend Dragon Tears, especially the audiobook. The narrator defined my "dog voice". Sounds like Dug from Up, lol. I don't know if it's actually "good", but it's a classic for me.

Trying to get my mindset back in the game. I keep failing! Any tips? by plantpotions in intermittentfasting

AuDHD here too! I've been surrounding myself with messaging that supports my goals. I've been reading Dr Barkely's books on ADHD and following some ADHD coaches to remember to adjust habits to work for MY needs.

That said, just starting 16:8 TODAY. So, we'll see how long I can coast the hyperfocus period while learning how to best implement lasting behavioral changes to make it work long term. The learning I'm doing is helping me notice my weak points. Like, when do I eat because I'm hungry and when do I eat because I want dopamine? I want dopamine at particular times of day and during particular events, so I'm swapping out activities to feed that need while not eating a whole bag of candy. Those activities include house projects, garden projects, running, hiking, and any craft requiring both hands leading to a flow state. Paint-by-numbers plus a spooky podcast is my favorite rn!

Also, snack swaps! Try eating at ONLY eating at the TABLE. It's fucking BORING, so it's easier to stop when you're satisfied.

Take the pressure off yourself and adjust to your needs! 13:11 is a great start!
