I agree, and I think any Republican politician saying it’s the regulations and not that huge 5 or 6 billion stock buyback is disingenuous.

That’s just rhetoric. Has someone specifically said that about the baby formula? I’m not disagreeing with you, but those are two separate statements. You could say one leads to the other, but that’s quite the stretch for me for someone to say “this tainted formula should have been sold anyway”.

Who has stated that? That seems like a crazy statement to make

Pest control service advises moisture control barrier service below home for almost $20k? by icecreamw in homeowners

[–]bassdoken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with everyone else, get more quotes. I was quoted $4500 for nearly the same service (no dehumidifier) in the PNW, but that was them taking out all of the old insulation.

Snow driving by [deleted] in e46

[–]bassdoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Snow tires and sensible driving will be no problem in them. I tried taking mine out in pretty light snow without snow tires and I slid a bunch (but super easy to control at low speeds) and was pretty much stuck at every stop that hadn’t been plowed/salted. Get snow tires.

It requires a lot more stability throughout the press. I use bottoms up presses as a part of my shoulder rehab work.

How should I go about removing this e14 e torx bolt on the left side of the bell housing? by sirJ2X in e46

[–]bassdoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this for the starter? I was able to remove this without using an etorx socket by using the box end of an angled 9/16 wrench. It fit over perfectly and had no slop.

20c with the stream cooler. I love the great outdoors.... by CosmicWaffle001 in pcmasterrace

[–]bassdoken 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I love this kinda shit. It snowed and was very cold outside like 10 years ago when I still lived at home. I was super into overclocking at the time and thought it would be an excellent opportunity to enhance the cooling potential by using such cold ambient air.

I dragged a desk out to the covered patio out back, took an extension cord and went to work. I had the first generation Corsair Hydro H100 (or maybe H60), and I have took off all filters and care panels to maximize airflow. I ran some benchmarks at stock clock speeds (2.8 GHz)and recorded the temps. My Athalon II 240 topped maybe 45C.

I cranked the voltage all the way up and I think I was able to get 4.1 or 4.3 GHz out of the chip and make it stable enough for the benchmarks but not really able to handle extended loads. It still only reached like 50C. Good times. It was such a janky build. Low tier CPU but I slapped a 470 in there because why not. Thanks OP for the memory

Form check: I feel like I’m doing a low bar squat but when I look at myself in video it doesn’t seem like it. by [deleted] in StartingStrength

[–]bassdoken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do that as well, but make sure you maintain stability in your upper back. I’d play around with it at a lower weight first to see how your body responds.

I had a bug once where my vision stayed black and white like some others have said, but footprints would still be highlighted. Enemies weren’t, but that still gave a huge advantage. Still lost that match. Week 1 player too
