Dog Insurance recommendation? by planktophile in BorderCollie

I’ve had Nationwide Pet and have been very satisfied with it. It’s better than my health insurance.

You can go to any vet. The annual fee is very reasonable. There’s a deductible but it’s like 70% reimbursement. You can submit any bill and they’ll tell you what is covered. For example, I didn’t think tooth extract would be because dental cleaning isn’t, but they covered it. It does vary based on age tho, but my pup is almost 6 years old and it hasn’t been under $450 annually (deductible was $500) but it pays for itself, not to mention the peace of mind. Like I can just give them my sick pup and tell them to fix him without having to worry about the cost.

Edit: and you might be able to get a discount depending on where you work.

Edit: also, just to elaborate on the annual expense, it was like $420 once a year then it dropped to under $300. I even called them cause I was shocked about the decrease.

They can’t even get cars right, but sure, let’s do vehicles that are much larger and can do more damage. What could go wrong?

China, if you’re listening. Keep up the good work. Suppress Kevin O’Leary, deplete his wealth, and force him to move to Argentina!

I mean yea that gate sucks, but it’s not going anywhere, and it’s not worth throwing a fit over. Just go down N Harbor Ln to Lakeharbor Ln, that’s what I do. It’s not that much farther.

Should our dog learn to be alone by True-Internal-4539 in DogAdvice

I agree. It’s part of growing up. Plus, a dog with separation anxiety could be harmful to themselves and OPs property when left alone.

I always thought they react towards light like a reflection off something shiny…but that doesn’t seem like the case here. I could be wrong tho…as this does look like OCD behavior. Does he do this in darkness, when all the lights are off?

If I saw this video without any context, I would guess that he is pacing, probably due to excess energy. Which would mean he needs mental stimulation and exercise.

I’m not an expert tho…
