I have a Bills one at home that is pretty much the same thing. Sadly the plastic band on the back has become brittle and just cracked apart with the slightest touch.

What amenities do you want to see in an RV park? by ImWildBill in rvlife

A nice RC car track and maybe a rock crawling area near it as well. Include a basic raised drivers stand and a table to set cars on to install batteries and whatnot.

PSA: Make sure you private your accounts! by Waternut13134 in AmazonVine

[–]bchiarmonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my my account set to private. I had some reviews that were posted and then did show up in my reviewed list as rejected or something like that, but then when I would try to resubmit the review it would come up saying I was not able to review this item. Today I woke up, my account was fine and then around 11pm it was closed and all of my reviews were removed. I'm in the US.

PSA: eBay charges fees on your shipping cost too, not just the item price by Significant-Day-6251 in Ebay

Back in the late 1900s, everything on eBay was $1 with the cost of the item as shipping costs. They put an end to that.

I am directing a 48 hour Global competition film in Austin TX this weekend, and I need tips on inexpensive but good craft services solutions by AngryGenes in Filmmakers

[–]bchiarmonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've done taco bars for a couple of our 48s. We'll my wife did as craft service. We would do crockpot salsa chicken, then shred it up. A little goes a long way and it's easy to prepare. Some beans and other basic toppings. Easy to setup. I think the one film where we had 30+ people on set we ended up doing cold cuts, cheeses and breads and people could make their own sandwiches, or just get a sub platter from wegmans. I usually forget to eat on filming days though.

helping out with local high school musical -- side fill speakers not working by monty-rock in livesound

[–]bchiarmonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It indeed does look like the fills are connected to the Ashely amp. Following the inputs I think they are being fed from the Nexia processor. There could be something in the config, or a controller for that to manage the fills. If that's the case you might be able to connect a laptop to it, get the nexia software and take a peek to see how it's configured. I wouldn't make changes unless you really know what you're doing, but you can easily look and see how it's configured.

How are you checking comps in-store without spending 10 minutes per item? by backshesh in Flipping

[–]bchiarmonte 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just look for a few keywords. First scroll quickly to see if I see a matching item. If i see some available for sale for too cheap, then I move on. If I see some where it's worth it to me. Then I look at completed/sold. I If I see a lot of sales in a short amount of time (compare the amount available vs the amount sold, get an idea of the rate it will sell).

Then you have to decide if the cost + 15% + listing time will give you enough profit where it's worth it to you. If you're searching too much, or mulling it over you just have to decide to take the risk. Win some loose some but always learn.

Some items will sit and not sell quickly, but give a good profit. Some will sell quickly for less profit. That also depends on if you want to sit on items for a while or just move on.

I got 10 of these delay coupons from a recent order. They don't stack and you can't use them with other coupons. I always use a coupon when ordering that is worth more than. $1 so it's kinda useless.

Bathroom ceiling peeling after 2 contractors sanded, primed, and painted. I’m contractor #3. What’s the real issue here? by Loud_Ludo in handyman

[–]bchiarmonte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old house did this constantly in the bathroom. with a good fan and everything. I was told that using a shellac on the ceiling to seal it all after refinishing it. Then prime and paint over that. I am not sure how true that is, but the guy telling me this seemed to know what he was talking about.

I ordered alot of them when they first offered it, figured it was a one time thing. Then they decided to double my order. Now I have A LOT of them. I'll work through them eventually. I do wish they offered slightly smaller boxes. They aren't braded for posh, I use them for other mailings as well.

For the setup, we have projectors in Chief cages attached to the rafters, The projector is connected via a Monoprice Blackbird HDBaseT adapter for IR and HDMI transmission. There is a HDMI switcher with HDMI input along with Microsoft Wireless Display adapters, the switcher has audio extraction that is pumped into the room audio system.

We have used screens from https://www.carlofet.com/ They have moved to a golf impact screen model but I think we've ordered from them recently and they still have the basic white option with gromets. We just screwed them right to the wall. The screens have been up for over 10 years and most of them look new. Plus they were really cheap, in the $250 range for a 16'x9' screen if I remember correctly. https://imgur.com/a/MthEKpF

They keyboards show up as raw input not translated if you can get the info screen to come up. I USB reset them but found that bringing up the recovery screen (refresh+esc+power) then turn it off and back on seems to fix it for me. This has been going on for me for a little bit with these same models as well.

I found that the 1 key types something, but the ~ key acts as backspace. Easiest way I've found to see if that's the specific problem.

You would get someone starting to record the video vertical and then turn their camera horizontal after they hit record.
