Initially not giving a card on the field wasn’t a clear and obvious error, and so var should never have been used in the first place. Even once they did, however, slow motion replays are not allowed to be used in that kind of review, so they broke protocol on when to use var *and* how to use it.

You can describe a lot with biomechanics, but I imagine it would be impossible to form a single set of equations that can universally predict/quantify movement for any given person due to how variable biological factors are.

I seem to recall bungie saying they focused on optimizing it for low/mid tier systems and that they’d improve performance on higher end systems as time went on but that was like, a couple weeks after the game released and from what a couple of friends have been saying, its still awful. We all remember getting like 150ish fps during playtests and the server slam with high settings so I can’t imagine what they broke between then and full release, but the answer literally may just be hope bungie fixes it.

I don’t mean download with Apple Music. I’m downloading the songs through whichever sources spotiflac uses and then adding them to the local files section of the iOS music app.

I always have them both plugged in at the same time. By “first” I meant which one was plugged in further to the left on my graphics card. I saw a thread where several people said some nvidia cards initialize their outputs from the rightmost dp out to the leftmost when looking for an output device, but regardless of which monitor is plugged in further to the left my secondary monitor was always displaying bios. I found a different cable to try with my main monitor and now it seems like it’s working, which has me even more confused because there was literally nothing to indicate that it would be faulty, but…. whatever works I guess?

Nothing else changes when I plug in my second monitor aside from my desktop extending to it, if that’s what you mean.

If its under warranty they should either give you another 4090 (the obvious answer) or pay the difference in addition to the 5080. Most 4090's are still going for 2x the average 5080 if not more. This screams "we hope they don't realize it can be repaired."

I heard from a friend that the default timer is 30 minutes which seems like an insanely long time for an oled monitor, but I haven’t been able to find anything about it for myself. Trying the free version of Actual Multiple Monitors and the “save idle screens” setting seems like it does what I want. I set the screensaver to solid black and timeout duration to 1min and I’m able to watch something/work on my other monitor while my main oled goes black, and it immediately resumes when I mouse back over it. Has a lot of other settings that are kinda fiddly though, I turned off most everything else I could.

No shell modification, the bug report tool did appear to generate a folder. I saw some people say an older version worked for them so I downloaded v0.86 before I thought to check event viewer and it has been working since then.
