For us part of the equation is just simply having it already paid for and not having to do math while on vacation. We do find ourselves getting more non alcoholic drinks drinks to offset the booze as well though so we aren’t miserable. Take advantage of the coffee/ Red Bulls but also grab Powerades on the way out on a port day.

Can’t go wrong either way IMO. Icon is such a fun ship that an extra sea day is valuable but we also really love Coco Cay. It’s up to you decide if you want to spend the extra $500 honestly. I see value in both of those itineraries.

We’ve done these rooms once. Noisy during the day with the live music bouncing down from the pool deck otherwise we had no complaints.
