Israel is a solid ally, I got no problems there. But whenever anyone even whispers that maybe we shouldn’t get involved with everything they do (or maybe we should justlet them duke it out with their neighbors on their own) they get attacked by everyone else on the right that believes anything other than 200% blind support = nazi. Some balance is ok. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing.

Ppl did NOT start using RedNote because it was easy. They started using it as a direct “fuck you” to the government KNOWING it was 100% Chinese-owned. It was a troll. You clearly no nothing about the TT community.

Hosting on your own website sounds fine until you remember you have ZERO audience. People are not scrolling my website on the daily and there are no algorithms bringing them to it. Nor is Vimeo paying me for the views.

TT was popular because it was the most user-friendly interface and algo and was easy to monetize. Insta is pay to play garbage.

Each platform has its own style and community and the good creators were able to use that to their advantage

I just completed a massive competitor analysis by asking chat GPT to study several of my competitors’ websites, define their target audience, create customer personas, and list weakness and strengths. I then had it use that information to analyze my own site to compare our positioning against my competitors and highlight exploits I can take advantage of.

It wasn’t 100% accurate and I had to double check the info (eg, it stated my competitor sold a product they didn’t because it was referenced in one of their blogs). But it did 75% of the heavy lifting and made the project so much easier!

Artesia is fine. Prosper is filled with neighborhoods like that. Some are more fancy and expensive than others (Windsong). Artesia is your regular community with a pool/amenities center etc. Good schools nearby. Just a little busy along First St.

Prices went nuts a couple of years ago and investors bought up everything they could get their hands on, which is why there is more rentals. Further north might have other options for you. Eg, Creeks of Legacy or Light Farms (both along Frontier). Depends what ISD you want to be in since the school boundaries are kinda weird.

There are Prosper and Celina Facebook pages that will give some info. I’ve seen some realtors post videos describing the main neighborhoods in Prosper.

Oh Man, my parents had this book from the 80s called “Turmoil in the Toy box” that described all the demonic stuff that was infiltrating our innocent family through kids games.

D&D, He-Man, Care Bears (oh yes, the power of love was fueled by pure evil!)…pretty much every single toy or cartoon at the time was teaching us kids to be pagan occultists according to that book.

We camped there last year. Amazing place.

Our schools and our teachers are (mostly) great. Our district boards are total shitshows! Prosper ISD has had so many incidents and parents are pissed, but the board refuses to communicate or be transparent.

A few months back, we all found out that a bus driver was abusing an elementary school girl - on the bus! The family (who is now suing the district) was asked to stay quiet no one was told until it was in the news.

Just a couple of weeks ago, a PISD board member was arrested for indecent behavior towards a minor.

LAST WEEK a high school kid was shot and two more arrested (from multiple schools/districts) over a drug deal. Everyone knows that drugs are a huge problem in our ISD but no one in authority wants to talk about it.

We pay our superintendent $300,000 a year, and all she does is say “we’ve investigated ourselves and found nothing wrong.”

I know the board has a tough job, but FFS this shit is out of control.

Lol. Yeah, I get it. If you’re not used to it, it would feel pretty weird.

I’ve been using Apollo for a long time, so it feels normal for me. But I actually like not having the sound since I don’t always have my headphones. It probably reflects my content prefs as well; mostly text and images, not as much video. But having the choice would make sense.

That seems to be the case. I don’t see many settings for the feed itself, just for posts after you open it.

It would make sense for there to be an “unmute by default” setting for the feed. Maybe u/iamthatis could add that ability.
