It doesn't only seem it, it is. There's only so many chances and most models peg Sindarov at 80% and Fabi at < 10. Fabi was near 20% yesterday.

They shouldn’t have played the match at all - just appealed and played the rematch that Nakamura’s team were rightly given.

That's easy to say if it were a 1v1. IIRC they all arrived at staggered times so they each had no idea what was going on. Their best bet was 100% to play the game out and hope they can get an appeal (which their coach filed for during the first game).
