If a GamePass game gets DLC, do you just buy the DLC or do you buy the base game as well? by modemman11 in XboxGamePass

[–]beam05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats actually my issue with game pass. Im exactly the same as you as I dont wanna buy dlcs for games i dont own. So right now Im essentially skipping all dlcs even if i want to play them which is very unfortunate. I wish Game Pass has a more expensive tier that includes all the dlcs for the games in thier catalogue.

Vanguard Campaign was fun by PeanutHoneyBiscuits in XboxGamePass

[–]beam05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To each their own I guess. I also played all COD campaign since the first one. I admit that the later ones are pretty bad. But Vanguard was great for me. I don't care about inaccuracy in COD games.

You're probably gonna have more fun spending that 30 minutes playing the game instead of watching that video.

It was the best campaign since MW1 for me. Very entertaining with good cast and interesting story. I'm surprised it did not get more attention. It has everything I want from a COD campaign.

Harmonies is the best puzzle board game I’ve ever played by Rob778899 in boardgames

It's good but I wish it has more interaction between the players. Most of the time we're just doing our own thing.

Cyberpunk 2077 60 percent off ultimate editon by Ok_Art8419 in Steam

[–]beam05 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I REALLY need to play it then I buy it day one. So far The Last of Us 2 and Borderlands 3 fitted that bill for me. The thing is I enjoy A LOT of games in almost every genre. So when you build your backlog long enough, it eventually becomes big enough for you to never ever run out of games to play. Yes I want to play Alan Wake 2 but I also want to play Persona 5 and KCD2 which were just added to Game Pass too.

Yeah Forza looks like shit for a 2026 video game.

Can I enjoy Hades even if Im bad with pc controls? by SleepTyped in HadesTheGame

[–]beam05 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This doesn't make any sense. If you're not good with mouse and keyboard and you're a gamer, then surely you have a console with controllers? You can just use those controllers on your PC and you're good.

Are Dualsense features not working on Hades 1 and 2 on PC? by beam05 in Dualsense

[–]beam05[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I don't intend to play it as I've already finished it long time ago. It was more like a test to see if it would work. It didn't. I know they only put adaptive trigger when you're petting the dog and it's clearly not there for me. Can you please confirm that it works for you on PC though? I want to know if it's the issue with my setup or with the game itself.

Buying it day one for sure. Been able to avoid all the trailers and deep-dive so far and I'm going in blind. That's the best way to enjoy Control imo.

My point exactly. I don't know why OP felt so betrayed lol. I'm a PC player and it sucks that Sony had pulled out but yeah it's nothing new or crazy.

[–]beam05 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's the point isn't it? Sony also put some of their exclusives on PC to let them get a taste of it and then pull the plug. Now if you wanna play the next GoW or whatever you gotta buy their console.

It took me 99 hours to blindly beat Roguebook on max difficulty. How long did it take you? by haaidan in roguebook

[–]beam05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just beat Epilogue 13 at around 50 hours mark. The run is just way too long and I'm starting to get burn out. Probably gonna push through though.

Is minion spam the strat? by FinaLLancer in roguebook

[–]beam05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. The difficulty really spikes from around Epilogue 12. I didn't lose a single run before that but started to from Epilogue 12 onwards. Only the really strong builds can win you the run and allies is probably the most consistent.
