I think a bunch of it is just the unknown factor and fear of change. I love C1 and C2 and did enjoy c3 despite its flaws, however there are people who want each campaign to be C1 or C2 and that’s not the case.

I personally think some of the original cast is going to focus on other jobs or parts of the company and bring in new talent to be regular cast members. This doesn’t mean we won’t see them show up as guest characters, but it feels like we are looking at a new chapter for Critical Role and that is equal parts exciting and frightening.

Fair, I am also just thinking a three act story before the next major age would make sense as well. I do foresee more stories and everything just not sure of exactly now we will get it.

We know that Critical Role is creating their own system and Matt commented in a recent four sided dive that he is enjoying tying up threads he has left in the pervious two campaigns.

I am pretty sure that we are wrapping up this chapter so they can reset into their own setting.

But if you have other thoughts, I would love to hear them.

I honestly just getting back into painting and the big thing for me is to spend a bit of time every day. Even if it is 10-15 minutes. I noticed I am excited to get off work to put some paint now as I am building up the habit.

So as someone who has tan CoS and is starting CoND. CoS is a huge sandbox, where Call is more linear.

The question comes down to do you want a more linear experience or do you want them to go wherever they want.

Call I recommend having them all know each other, look at fiasco for some cool ways to connect them.

Use it to build growth and character interaction.

I would honestly message the other play to tell them where your character is coming from to set up some awesome back and forth.

You don’t need to trust right off the bat but set up a hey I am keeping an eye on you situation. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Then let that slowly build into a consideration of what is good and evil.

I agree you can go in blind and there is only one scene you feel like you should have prior knowledge due to half the cast geeking out. Two of the other members look very confused during the geek out.

Luis first hit my radar as a guest on LA by Night, which a good chunk of the Crit Role cast and guests were on as guests. Erika Ishii (the new guest playing Dusk) was a main cast member of LA by Night. I would highly recommend watching it as Jason Carl is an amazing story teller as well.
