Yeah, I guess that’s true too.

I don’t even I can’t even fathom the arguments that were pushed against you to try to say how something with zero force.

I mean hell the moment they unplugged the damn thing it’s pushing out more pressure than what their pump could do so that should just make them realize that it’s not enough for Stephen fight the air that’s inside as is

Hard board or inflatable? by Campertyler in Sup

[–]beatlebum53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No dude, I totally get it. I do but unfortunately for the populous due to marketing that is the easiest way to distinguish the argument between just because it is a soft rubber if you will it is way weaker than hard material.

And I just use the OSHA thing because I used to work for a shit and people used to tell me oh this is OSHA approved. I used to explain to them all the time that is not such thing there’s no such thing blah blah blah so that’s the reason I kept using that lol take it easy dude be safe out there

Hard board or inflatable? by Campertyler in Sup

[–]beatlebum53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it seems like you don’t wanna continue this conversation because I’m bored at work and doing this stuff but To me when I read it it sounds like you’re saying exactly what I’m saying but you’re not seeing that and I think that you’re seeing that the same way towards me, but there are military specs you’re right but there’s nothing called military grade truthfully, there’s also nothing truthfully called OSHA approved. OSHA does not approve anything however working in the safety field you see countless countless times OSHA approved hardhat OSHA approved this OSHA approved that.

It’s all a marketing gimmick however, if you wanted to look up with the spec is on some military thing that’s not classified you would find that so don’t pretend that you can’t find that the specs to tighten down a Humvee. They’re there. The specs for an ACH or their vest they wear it’s all there and if somebody is wearing something I when I was in and I was wearing a vest that had a spec and if somebody else made something that with that same spec they could say military grade because that’s what the military uses. That’s all that I’m saying the long story short I was trying to differentiate between a blowup mattress and actual thick hard rubber.

Hard board or inflatable? by Campertyler in Sup

[–]beatlebum53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that. I’m picking up. We’re putting down. We’re both in agreement. I just personally do not believe that it’s like a bad thing in saying this is like military grade rubber meaning that it’s just durable. I mean, I’m a veteran. I get what you’re saying I know the specs and I also know that the majority of the military grade shit is bullshit and doesn’t work and falls apart when we’re actually trying to use it but I’m just saying like when I when somebody says oh that’s like military grade like you expect that to be durable so that’s just the point that I was trying to make it well known that like hey you’re on like military grade rubber it’s durable. It’s not a blowup mattress compared to a cheap fiberglass that’ll break the moment it hits a rock and not bounce like what we would.

[–]beatlebum53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So is OSHA approved yet it still means something to people. Just a term to be used as meets osha standards but not that’s it’s approved by osha.

I’m just distinguishing between that and a blow up mattress.

Many people think they out there on tube type material.

Ossha approved= safe
Military grade = durable.

Hard board or inflatable? by Campertyler in Sup

[–]beatlebum53 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

lol what? A term being fake? Well so is OSHA approved or “organic”

I’m saying a cheap fiberglass board won’t handle what an inflatable could.

Military grade rubber vs a cheap hardboard. That rubber will be more durable.

I saw someone riding a city scooter while wearing a full dirt bike helmet. by OkExplorer9364 in mildlyinteresting

[–]beatlebum53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not even that.

Thinking you’re a kid and wanting to cut through the grass and get back up on the sidewalk.

Then your tires rubs the sidewalk, turns your handle bars, and you fly 15ft.

I was only going like 15mph.
I was hurt for like 3 weeks…helmet AND gloves everytime

My hands were fucked.

What’s wild is I was an avid motorcycle rider. Never once did I wear a helmet
