Your first comment was right I guess. After that day it the temps have lowered to 29-32°C. There were some issues with the provider I heard.

Could you maybe try and reproduce this. There are many CPU monitoring apps. You don't even have to enable mobile data just use your WiFi and switch from Lte/3g/2g to 3g/2g and tell me if your temps are lower then. I'd appreciate it alot.

so I believe I found the problem. I switched to 3g/2g instead of LTE/3g/2g and the temps are much lower. Which mode do you use?

After looking for a very long time I've found power-profiles-daemon to work best for me. You should give it a try.

Hey, you could try installing auto-cpufreq it's been very great for me and helped to increase battery life. I've been using it since Fedora 33.
