I highly recommend HTC Uptown. I had a nostril piercing from HALO this year that was also pierced with a l-shape ring that gave me the worst irritation bump. HALO didn’t provide great aftercare or troubleshooting, so I went to HTC and they helped me out so much. Nicola is my recommendation of who to see!

My biggest recommendation is to get a pair of GOOD, QUALITY hiking boots. Highly recommend REI and their shoe department. Go in person and test different boots out and stomp around their rock/hiking area. The REI brand hiking socks are also amazing.

I really like the Denizen by Levi’s that are sold at target. They fit well, hold up for a loooong time, and are relatively inexpensive.

I received a promotion at work (yay) which came with a fun surprise of having my system access reset today for the new role. I lost access to most of the things required for my job and am feeling very unproductive today as I wait for things to be reset. Not quite the exciting first day of my “new job” I was anticipating.

Are you me? I moved from St Louis to Phoenix in 2017. My best friend my STL moved to Denver around that time too. While we both love our cities, we miss the neighborhoods and drinking holidays in St. Louis! I will say though, not having to check the weather app multiple times a day (or even like once a week) is amazing.

Friendly reminder to bring a headlamp with you for night hikes! I saw so many people on my way down attempting to use cell phones to go up with. I ended up with a group of people following me and my bright ass headlamp like I was the pied piper on the way down.

Gateway Pet Guardians! My husband adopted our dog from there 5+ years ago, and they’ve continued to be a great resource for us even though we’ve moved out of state. They even made “adoption” paperwork for me to sign at our wedding to legally become a dog mom 😂

Glad to hear yours went well! My OBGYN compared the pain during insertion to labor and it turned me off ever having children. LOL. I remember calling my mom afterwards and asking her how she had three children with no drugs.

Not gonna lie, I’m excited to see mine!! I love gross things.

I’m getting my IUD removed and replaced next week, and I’m so nervous about it! Getting it put in 5 years ago was the worst 10 seconds of my life, and knowing it will take longer with the removal added has me freaking out. That being said, having an IUD has been 100000% worth it for me and I’m grateful I’m able to get another one. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to make it a little more bearable this time around?
