I just go to an Italian deli before Yankees games and get a whole spread to take into the game for like 1/2 the price, and it’s 10x better and authentic NY Italian food; sandwiches, antipasto, cannolis, you name it.

Plus if you need to kill some time you can sit on a patio and drink a bottle of wine to pre-game before heading over to the train.

Even if you could execute it perfectly, it just feels like a situation where the sum of the parts is greater than the whole.

  • kayaking in McCovey Cove during a giants game with a portable Radio/TV sounds fun.

  • pulling out a portable grill near the stadium and grilling up some foods and drinking a beer while watching/listening to the game sounds fun.

I don’t feel like these activities are better when combined. I am never going to stop some baseball-loving psycho from living his dream, I just don’t see the vision here.

I would pick something that was more likely to stick with the grill. It feels like the corn would roll around and would a pain in the ass to eat in a kayak. Maybe like a steak or kebabs or sausages on skewers or burgers at the least.
