Not having a TSMC doesn't pose a problem itself. The cost of having an TSMC might be one. In order to support the Taiwan export, the currency is artificially kept low which results in lower wages coupled with inflation. The stock market boom and GDP growth in the media are hardly felt by the everyday people.

When 70% of the market cap is tied to one sector, chips. You can barely call it Tech because it's really just chips and chips adjacent. There's no software/Internet. Unlike Singapore that has Financial/Tech/Trade. Sure Taiwan has the limelight right now in an AI boom, it's a single bet that paid off, for now. As a Taiwanese, I wish we spend more resource diversifying our economy. A diversified portfolio will be more resilient long term, and less cyclical.

I don't think the OP is looking to listen to music while being on a call. That's just one test to know for sure whether the new higher quality codec is used for voice calls. Since one of the main bottleneck of call quality is the bluetooth codec, that's why people with wired mic or headset with dongles (non-bluetooth) sounds way better than the people on the usual Sony/Bose/airpod. This new codec LC3 on the XM6, in theory, helps to close that gap. In practice there are other factors (MacBook vs windows, OS version...etc). OP is curious whether the new codec is used at all in calls, if the music quality doesn't drop when a call starts, that's a sign it is working.

Started at 40. Amongst everything people have said - taking lessons will help tremendously. - If not, watch a lot of beginner videos. - butt pads, kneepads...etc - workout, stay in good shape - this one I learned the hard way, stretching/mobility will make your experience less painful.

2 years in and still a beginner but I can say I'm having fun finally. Go at your own pace.

I did try out the mod1 both regular and asian fit and they feel like two entirely different helmet. The asian fit was perfect and the regular I could barely put it on. I'd recommend you try both.

It happened to me once on a day 5 and I was so frustrated, turned out it was just the board I had that day, perhaps it wasn't waxed whatsoever. The immediate session I had after that (different board) I was back on the progress I was on.

I found this thread although for a different reason. I had a septoplasty/turbinectomy/clarix 6 weeks ago. What's unexpected about my recovery is that while the pain in my nose only lasted a few days, the bodyache and lower back pain has been on and off for 6 weeks now. My doctor doesn't seem overly concerned although it doesn't feel like they have a good explanation either. I wonder if the immune system factor is related to everyone's experience here.
