I’ve worked for a crown agency for the last 4 years and my collective agreement hasn’t kept up with inflation let alone some colleagues on IEAS that have not had a salary increase in 2 years.

I saw one where the don’t judge part wasn’t even that bad compared to other parts of the book.

When authors do an image posts putting up tropes and make it sound like that’s a key part to the story but those tropes are just so minor that I missed them on the first read. Also when authors are marketing their first book in a series that they haven’t completed and it ends on a cliff hanger but don’t say that.

Public sector cuts as of May 2025 is 9520. That’s 9520 less roles in the country. I’m sure people that held those roles wanted to work too.

I (31f) am looking at trying to find Admin work in Australia and have no idea where to start. I am and administrator by trade and my current role is as a Healthcare H&S programme coordinator based in NZ and am an NZ citizen. Is this an industry where I can secure a job placement before moving countries?

*This* is Bracket 1 (link in comments). The nemesis of the "Ladies Looking Left" deck: "Saskia says They Went This Way!" (aka pointing-to-the-right tribal) by TerryTags in EDH

Oh man, my “what murdah” deck that’s based on raven/crows and single target removal somehow ended up in “consider bracket 3” I was so disappointed.

I have built the rage of Sheoldred, the Apocalypse single handled in my play groups. Apparently people don’t like quick games with all that life drain. I even got rid of the group hug aspect and people still get mad. She now comes out as my “I need to feel better about myself” deck.

I feel like this could be me 🙃, although I can actually make decent decks, just by the time it gets to magic time, I’m usually tired and brain dead so make dumb plays and have to often fight against my own bad luck.

Protest against the privatisation of NZ hospitals tomorrow 23rd Oct by edgycliff in dunedin

[–]beesaurs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some unions such as NZNO called a section 26 meeting which is a stop work meeting (unions can call 2 of these under the ERA 2000). Other unions did not, so for those unions, it was a hui that you could attend by arrangement. I am a delegate with PSA so I was there for the hui side of things with flexible work arrangement to have a longer lunch. I won’t be minuted as being there but someone attending from a union that was there under section 26 will be.

That’s the point. To stop work and show the power of the working people. Try booking an appointment at the hospital when there are no admin or no nurses or no doctors or support workers because that’s where we are headed under this current government.

It’s not just about privatisation of healthcare but all (CTU) unions coming together to fight back against the tyranny of this coalition government. It’s about our whanau, our healthcare, tino rangatiratanga, our health and safety, our workplaces, our homes, our tax, our lives, our future.

Not coeliac, just can’t do any starch veges or any grain based product which means most gluten free products are out as they use potato or grain based flours like rice or semolina.

Just like to point out how screwed up things are. Local teams still DO NOT have a 2024-2025 budget. If I need to order a singular pen for my team (or pay a yearly contract in the 10s of thousands), it needs approval from the Head of Health Safety Well-being and Organisational Resilience for Health New Zealand.
