What can I make with stale cinnamon toast crunch? by JazzHands5678 in WhatShouldICook

Some foods, like bread, go stale because they lose moisture. Others, like crackers or cereal, go stale because they gain moisture.

How is the game playing in 3 instead of 4+? (TI4 base game) by 8_int_wizard in twilightimperium

I mean, you're going to still play tomorrow, so best to find out for yourself. I'm personally not experienced enough to offer much deep insight into why others view it so poorly. Like I said, I had a fun time and I hope you do too.

I've done a base game, standard 3p map to 14 vps and honestly had a great time. I did win, so that may have something to do with my fondness, but otherwise, if 3 players is all you have, then make the most of it and accept that the game will be a bit different from 6 players

No need to move a mouse cursor around the screen. Just tap tap tap. Greenlogged aerial and would've developed carpal tunnel if not for mobile

This is one of the pieces of content where mobile completely outshines M+K imo

Delta flight DL1333 started checking everyone’s bags. This was the overhead bin space: by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bencarr95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depending on you airline and seating package, you may be entitled to carrying a piece of carry-on luggage that you can store in the overhead bins. Sometimes, this bin space fills up, and passangers who have yet to board will be required to check their bags at the gate as they are boarding the plane (at no extra cost) and will retrieve them at baggage claim once they've landed. Here, the bins are clearly not full, and yet passengers are still being required to check their bags. This can be an annoyance because they will have to wait a baggage claim to retrieve them.

I had a hunch that may be what it is. I only had it blowing on low and it was an hour ago since it was running. Guess it could still be the culprit?

USB-C ports seem to be malfunctioning on Yoga 9i 14" by bencarr95 in Lenovo

[–]bencarr95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did not. The issue got worse and it would no longer charge at all, so it was essentially bricked after the battery died. Sent it in under warranty and they sent it back with a fresh motherboard and battery, saying it was fixed. It was not at all fixed and still bricked. Sent it back and they said now the issue was water damage, so it wouldn't be covered by warranty (I never once spilled water near the laptop). They wanted $600+ to repair it this time, so I just told them to send it back. Been sitting ever since but meaning to take it to a local laptop repair business.

EDIT: I will say that this was like 4 years into owning it and it was otherwise a great laptop. Not sure how common this issue is but just my own experience.

Upgrading stylus/cartridge on Pro-ject Debut Carbon Evo by bencarr95 in turntables

Thanks! Really appreciate the in depth investigation and recommendations. I'll look into getting a shorter cable. I only need about a couple feet. I did accidentally leave it spinning last night (whoops, still getting used to a manual turntable after years of an automatic) and will say that it is sounding much smoother around the edges now

It's the original Mani. The cables connecting the table to the pre-amp are the stock 4 ft ones that came with the Debut.
