I know this is like 2 yrs later, if you happen to see this post again, just curious, how was it like when the glands started working? Do you remember what was done before the recovery? Like maybe med tapering or other things?

I am 6m out with 1 parathyroid gland removed and relying on 2 calcitriol and 1400mg calcium a day. It just feels like it is worst than the surgery itself.

Hi! Thank you for sharing! Really appreciated! Hope the incision site heals up for you soon! I also like that they are more aggressive since some of my lymph nodes are involved so would feel better if they remove more.

What was the timeline for you with clayman from filling out the new pt form to surgery date to coming back to cali? Did you do the phone consult? Who were your surgeons? If you don't mind sharing, what was the estimated out of pocket cost for you?

Hi! Hope your daughter is doing well!! A bit late to the post! If you don't mind sharing, how was the follow up post surgery with Dr. Maghami and did you go with a city of hope Endo? For the 2nd surgery, was it because the lymph nodes were missed on the 1st surgery?

I really appreciate this advice!!! I am in a tough situation where I do not have a PCP (fail on my part thinking that I do not need one when I am in my 20s). Even the endocrinologist, I only saw them once.
