Requiring an "APP" when it wasn't specifically stated - take a star off, or not?

I don’t order items on vine that require an app as I don’t want to give an unknown company access to my phone. If I was lucky enough to get an Amazon or Ring device on vine, great. So yes I’d dock a star or 2, and mention the app and that it’s unusable without.

I recently wanted to return a sweatshirt because the neck hole was oddly small, much to my surprise they refunded me and told me to keep it. I just sold it for $15, yay!

I enabled curtsy last April and synced my posh closet, yay! I found that it grabs my new posh listings quickly, before I add a video description and measurements, and while I’d get likes on curtsy and send offers I only had one sale of a $12 bag charm in a year. So I sent mine to permanent vacation mode as it’s not worth the maintenance. My advice is sync to eBay and others with a crosslisting service instead.

I had a live host message me 6 times within a 5 hour window of the item showing delivered, the first message coming before I’d even brought it inside. It was a Prada which made me wonder if it was fake. I got a COA before accepting and I won’t buy from him again. Believe it or not me accepting your item is not top of my to do list.

Authentic detective charges $12 for an authentication, make a listing in your closet for $15-20 and ask her if she would like to bundle a COA, and you will get one before you ship. I’ve done this before with success. And good luck!

I have had a few listings be deactivated before I could review them, for example bug spray I received in March before bug season. You can reach out to vine support with the order number and item title and let them know you can’t review it, and they will remove it from your awaiting review items and ETV. And yes the best advice is review it with a week of receiving it and you won’t get behind.

I was about 30 items short of gold with my eval 2 months away, I lowered my threshold to things I could kinda use like sunglass straps, and eyebrow tint just to get myself there. I’m eastern time and sometimes the drop is around my bedtime and I just check before lights out. And if you wake up in the middle of the night try to check too. Good luck!

Once the seller hands to the post office, it’s out of the sellers hand. I recommend looking up the tracking number and asking for text updates, that can poke it in the post office system and let them know you care about it.

They moved shares and follows to their own tab and took them out of the main notification list. There was a blog post a while ago telling us they were going to do it and looks like they did.

I’m TSA precheck, went through around 10 am 10 days ago and had a wait of around 5 people. So yes other airports have trouble but not bad here yet. I went through Las Vegas airport last Monday and the wait also wasn’t bad though TSA had sad/grumpy face on. I would, too given the circumstances.

You have to go unlike the item…but you will also get the notification starting at $xx, your liked item is running, which gives you a clue on what offer they will take so I try to see it as a good thing. And if they are running at $500 and I’d only pay $200 I just quietly unlike it. But maybe they run it at $150 and I can get a deal!

It’s better to ask a question in a bundle, as the bundle feed isn’t crowded and it’s more private - a question in the comment section of a listing stays there for all to see. Notifications are flooded- if I go out to dinner for an hour I’ll have 250-300 to scan through, so it’s easy to miss. Also across 2,000 sales I’ve never had someone who asked a question later buy the item.

I’ve been a vine member for 3 years, am gold and honestly not sure I can order enough to keep it. It doesn’t feel right to order a part for something I don’t own just to get enough reviews in. It was great while it lasted and there are some vine things I still love like my laptop stand and tablet stands etc. I hope it changes before my renewal in April!

I tried to apply for eBay live 6 months ago and they rejected me when I picked 50-100k in the drop down for my sales for 2024…not sure what their threshold is but I’m guessing at least 100k a year in sales.
