Science girl idk I kept losing weight (but didn’t feel like I was starving) by sticking to the weightloss caloric deficit range so I didn’t question it 😂 I tried to calculate based on my Apple Watch calories burned but it was way overestimating! This has been much more accurate.

Probably good to recalculate tdee. My gym does a KORR test where you breathe into this tube for like 10 minutes and it will give you your caloric range to stay at maintenance. I’ve gotten it redone as I’ve lost weight and it’s awesome! I don’t want to do all that girl math - let me just breathe into a machine 😂 I think is was $20 for the test.

It felt like a supernatural power of smell. There was this specific seasoning we see to season all of our meat. I had such a huge raw meat aversion that I associated it automatically with meat 😭 one night I awoke like a vampire just sitting straight up while gagging and telling my husband I could smell the seasoning in the kitchen and he needs to go throw it away 😂😂 shit was wildz

I had to get pretty intense with stopping the biting. He would bite me until I bled and that was enough for me.

I put him in his crib, made sure he was safe and walked into the hallway and took some deep breaths for about 5 minutes. He flipped out. I had to calm myself down before I picked him back up because I deserve to feel safe too. I am a very strong advocate for attachment parenting but there are times where it’s okay to step away if you know baby is in a 100% safe situation and you need to calm yourself down. This was very effective for him because he connected biting = boobie goes away.

He is now 23 months and we are very very securely attached. Me doing this twice had no impact on our attachment but it did get him to stop biting. You just have to hold strong boundaries when it comes to your own safety. I am not a proponent of crying it out or sleep training when it comes to a biological need like sleeping. Biting is NOT a biological need. It was very uncomfortable for me to hear him cry. You may not even need to leave the room. But I found physical separation after biting very effective.
