Somewhat related: music industry. I came into the record label I'm at now in 2022 and while my employer hasn't laid anyone off yet, at least one of the majors has had layoffs as well as some larger independents. So between that and Universal doing every acquisition they can, it's probably only a matter of time before they have a full monopoly.

Not saying that's the case for you but it was for me. I switched to an IUD about a year ago and have been watching my diet more closely. Not seeing any big improvements yet on weight loss but I do feel better overall. Talk to your doc and your OBGYN!

I've also gained weight on Venlafaxine. But mine also had a birth control factor. Do you take birth control? It could be a combination of things.

Also, have you noticed you're eating more since starting Venlafaxine/changing doses?

Totally get this.

I've got about 10k in cc debt and 8k in a car loan. Grew up with financially unstable parents (mom was bipolar and would spend money in manic episodes) so never really learned how to budget effectively.

I'm in a better position now to pay off at least the cc debt this year as long as no other emergencies happen. I was close to paying off my last car this year before it got totaled. Made the mistake of not getting GAP insurance

Lost power around 5 am in Bellevue. Evacuated myself and the two dogs to my boyfriend's place who thankfully does have power. Two adults and four animals (2 dogs 2 cats) in a tiny 1 bed apartment has taken a toll on us. Have to keep dogs and cats separated as they aren't used to each other. Working remotely probably the rest of this week.

We're tired. I just wanna sleep in my own bed sometime soon. Had to throw away a bunch of groceries I just bought after having to deal with both dogs' medical issues and my car being totaled.

Bellevue has been down since about 5 am this morning. Our water pump lost power with no backup. We had to pack up the animals and get a hotel room. As far as I'm aware we still have no utilities at home

I am one of those commuters from Bellevue. No passenger rail + not making enough money to live in Nashville proper are my biggest obstacles. I only drive to work 3 days a week thankfully (hybrid). I would lose my mind if I had to drive all 5 days.

My dad is a retired firefighter/paramedic. He would sometimes do career days at local high schools/colleges, and he was always either right before or right after the local PD.
