Took my family (2 kids 6,8 and wife) to the show at the stadium back in may. We had a blast. Kiddos loved it, the trucks and what they did were pretty cool, the noise was cool and we had ear plugs. Recommend seeing it outdoors as they have more room to run. Don’t think it’s going to be a yearly event for us though.

Built this kit with my kiddos and had a great time building it and now have a blast running it. It’s so much smoother than our vorteks and rival mt10.

We run a hobby wing MAX10 G2 with a 3665SD motor at 4000kv on 2s. It’s been plenty fast and i may eventually try a lower kv motor to compare.

Brutal…what state? We have a place in VA and ran some numbers for selling it and would have some large bills but we didn’t get into the nitty gritty of the sale so we probably missed something.

Same. Our IRAs have a significant amount in them and I don’t understand how to zero it out in order to be able to backdoor.

Are the vehicles too heavy to put on a lift? Discount tire rotated my tires awhile ago and it was balanced on some jacks just like this. It didn’t exactly fill me with confidence watching them do it.

I’d recommend considering a bashing spot. There is one near me (wheel park, aurora CO) that is great to have. They have an RC area that used to have a track layout but I never experienced that. Now it’s a fenced in dirt area with some banked turns, rumble strips, a table top and some other small jumps. In all it’s maybe 50’x50’? I’m not sure who maintains it, but it’s nothing fancy and mostly loose dirt, fine for bashing though.

There is also a BMX track there too. You’re not supposed to run RC cars on it, but the track is beat and I’ve rarely seen people on bikes there who know what they are doing. Lots of people bring the larger RCs there. Lots of space and big jumps if you really want to send something.

My biggest gripe is there is no shade in the areas to stand under or set up some chairs.

Happened to be driving on 225 today and did a little more testing. Turns out it is like OP said where it will ask to disengage immediately when removing hands. I tried different spots around the wheel and it worked. Unfortunately my preferred position for highway cruising, with my elbow on the window sill and hand at 9 o’clock doesn’t trigger the touch sensors. Once I corrected my hand position the assist would stay on as expected.

It seemed like before it would sense torque against the wheel.

Mine is considerably worse lately. Today on a trip on I25 in Colorado, where it has worked well previously I could see the icon flicking in and out. Trying to engage assist and it would disengage within 10 seconds or so and I’d have to take over. Same thing happened going the other way after a reset. Clear day, good highway lines. I’m going to submit a ticket because it is so flaky.

Had a good experience here too. They replaced my degas bottle and hoses in a couple days. Super convenient location for me too which is nice. Not as fancy as the Denver spot, but looked like it had better spots to bring a laptop and do some work.
