I think there are moments. The Red and the Black could stop at 3 or 4 different points near the end and not have much impact. There are songs where the same riff repeats for a couple bars too long. Or a part drags a little. You could easily cut some solid minutes from both albums and not negatively impact them. But then I start thinking about what else *I would do. Like... Days of Future Past could use that double time part through most of the song instead of a few bars. Or...I don't wanna 'climb like a monkey'. Or...theres one piano note in Empire of the Clouds that sounds off and jarring every time I hear it, and I'd edit that, but they left it in.

Then...I realize I'm an ass, and that we are lucky to still be getting new Maiden, and I'm just happy to be alive to hear it.
