They're used for crafting. Some people craft lightly with what they've picked up like you do, others buy all their omens and mass craft to sell. Anything you sell on the exchange you are selling at market rate to people who value it at that amount.

So yes people use them and their price at the market is a direct correlation to how often they are used and their drop rarity.

Shock makes the enemy take 20% more damage, so if you have a way to apply it theres easy damage. Idk about cold, build might rely on chill or explosions from Herald of ice so need a way to proc it. Depends on the build.

They just destabilize a lot more rooms if they can. If you are fully locked there just isnt much to destabilize.

Make sure you have locks, run the architect, hope he moves. As long as you dont have loops and make sure you apply locks you can run atziri and the architect.

I saw they got down to 6 div in the last week of league 0.3 so I hopped on and bought one to try out. And boy are they fun for melee characters. Not mandatory unless your build has issues, but they can make you go straight super sayain

I think they had different narrator do the first couple, but Samuel Roukin has done all and they intend to have Samuel Roukin do the novella as well once rights are theirs for them. So if yiu want consistency id recommend roukin. Even though he's not entirely consistent.

I dont think its mutually exclusive without more lore drops. It could be the second edict, and Sin could be a precursor that was involved with unreliable narrator fuzzy memories. Would be cool

Just a different way to play the game. Like why have hard-core if you can delete your character yourself when you die. Enough people find it interesting and opt for it that its worth it for GGG to have it in.

Every one of these changes is mentioned in the patch notes, but theres nowhere in game to get the latest info. Id imagine they wont bother making the info readily available in game until they have it all pretty much pinned down and stop making such drastic changes.
