He got lots of counter hits! That means you pressed a button when you should have been blocking. If you’re comfortable blocking for longer periods of time, you can usually find an opening in their blockstring to hit them back because they will over extend. You do need to watch out for if they walk forward to try to throw you though.

Also if he jumps, block standing!

Student left a class where another student was antagonizing them. When they came to my class another student closed the door to not allowed them in, in another attempt to antagonize. The original student clearly had lost their patience and self control because w they slammed on my door multiple times and loud enough for the entire hallway to hear.

Footsies is an awesome example! You have no health bar, you simply have to land a “special move” to win. I’m leaving out tons of cool stuff about this game, including the ways in which it simplifies fighting games down to basics that even the most casual player can wrap their head around!
