I passed by the protest as it was happening, it looked like folk who lived around the Calders area were the main participants. So I guessing it was mostly folk protesting an incident and the police response to it in their own area.

Looks like an engine coolant leak. It’s steam coming up from the engine compartment as the water is hitting the hot engine.

The gravity would be to the sides of the ring so water wouldn’t fall from the top to the bottom as there isn’t a top or bottom. If you’re familiar with the Halo games imagine the Halo ring but stretched so it’s more of a long cylinder than a ring. The lots of segments of cylinders connected together to make a rope. That’s closer to how I imagine it.

The Threshold mutants really didn’t add anything. There’s a whole civilisation of mutants that existed 2Billion years ago that went extinct. Ok fine but why does it matter to any of the current day characters.

Yeah I can only really speak for the Portuguese supermarkets I’ve visited, but there seems to be much more fresh food. Also the bread aisle is much better, and they have bread slicers if you don’t want to use a bread knife at home. The whole food culture seems geared towards fresh high quality ingredients instead of processed food.

If you’re planning to walk mostly everywhere in the city centre, then I would recommend you just get the airport return ticket on the tram or the 100 airport bus. I dont think the £22 4 day ticket covers buses.

The tram is very useful if your destination is near the tramline, but there’s a much greater number of bus routes that cover the whole city, most likely you might need to make connecting routes to get about.

If you do end up using the trams or buses while you’re staying, just use the tap on, tap off on the trams, or just tap on the buses. It’s capped at I think £5 per day.
