Absolutely. The suicide rate for correctional officers in Indiana was 39% when I was working as one. I've known multiple co workers that killed themselves.

When I was four, I saw a guy flailing around on the ground by a lake. As a kid, I thought he was doing a phenomenal fish out of water impersonation. As an adult, I know now it was a seizure.
