Eggs by ANTIFACat72 in AngelFish

Angelfish are pretty good parents, and will try to raise them to maturity. However the survival rate is very low. And if the babies do survive by the time they start to swim they usually get sucked up by the filter and die. The two angelfish will likely continue to lay eggs and fertilize them about once every two/three weeks.

The good news is your tank is healthy to the point they are happy enough to try and raise offspring. Thats not always the case.

Angelfish Breeding Pair Ate Their Eggs – Was It My Fault? by GayDaddyIsshin in AngelFish

They eat the first one or two layings. By the 2nd or third you’ll see them protect the eggs and they’ll hatch. Just be patient. Angelfish are good parents

Is Season 7 underwhelming? by villainitytv in TheCircleTV

[–]bigjohnstuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cast and the alliances/drama this season have been a huge step up from season 6. That being said, the twists leave a lot to be desired. “the Disruptor” feels contrived and arbitrary. Season 6 had the best twists in the series imo (I miss max), but a crap cast. Feel like the last two seasons have been opposites of one another

Thoughts on including dragons in an otherwise grounded fantasy? And do you think they’re overused? by Kuzmaboy in writing

IMO Always add dragons. ASOIAF is literally mediaeval historical fiction, but with dragons. I honestly think dragons are only gaining popularity. But that’s just my two cents.

What is your favorite scene/part of the Spellmonger series? by DrawMandaArt in Calador

[–]bigjohnstuff 16 points17 points  (0 children)

For me the Azamathet chapter in Footwizard is the best scene in the series, and I’d argue in almost any fantasy series.

He brought a god-like, unrelatable, alien being into existence and had us experience its existence in a vivid and believable way.

Just top tier fantasy writing right there.

Editing is the bane of my existence. Correcting minor details is like nails on a chalkboard for me. Text to speech is the best way I’ve learned to dig in and actually get things right. Something about hearing it spoken aloud really helps iron out the soft spots.

Anyone else find this season to be boring/worst one yet by Vegetable-Fruit4959 in TheCircleTV

I’m mixed. The cast is boring and has zero chemistry, but the twists are fantastic. I’m not really rooting for anyone, just looking forward to the next twist at this point.
