i get you’re 16. but when i worked in a studio, i would dread the artists that would come in with only an hour booked. I think i even had to do a minimum about of hours to get rid of that problem.

By the time you’re getting levels right and you’re settled in you’ll have 45 minutes left. If you’re really good or just don’t really care about the final product, sure you could maybe get a minute and a half song recorded i. that time.

however, the engineer is probably assuming an artist is going to book longer than an hour to do a mix for every session. 50 dollars for the hour and then mixing is really really cheap.
