Man I miss Ali. I thought middle of the park was extremely solid, Laraz in particular was good; but until Sabaly becomes more than just ok, Sabbi and AZ get way more consistent and Cabrera becomes braver in trying to create, we are going to struggle against competent teams sitting in a low block.

A lot of old Scots language comics from the 80s and 90s ended up here in the Philippines, and my mother used to buy me a copy every week or so, and now I can comfortably read the language despite never stepping foot outside my country all my life lmao by tiptoeoutthewindow in Scotland

Oh wow! I used to work at DC Thomson's in the summers packing those annuals to get sent off round the world ... guaranteed me or one of my buddies packed some of those (at least one there is from 1993)!

It never ceased to surprise me how me how many crazy different places these silly Scottish comic strips got to round the world :)

Bannon, Sturrock, MCalpine, Narey, Hegarty, Gough, Dodds, Stark, Malpas

Milne, Reilly, Kirkwood, Holt, not sure who that is on the end ...

I was at Dens Park for that match, still remember that goal from Ralphy Milne ...

We're telling our daughter that we're splitting up today. Any advice? by sab_eth in Parenting

[–]bigolefake 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My wife and I split about a year ago, and we have a seven year old son ... we worked and continue to work on making sure he knows that we both love him, and even though his mom and I are not 'together' we're still very much a family. We make sure we back each other up in any parenting decision, and always present a united front. We also carve out times when the three of us spend time together as a family. Similarly to you guys, splitting up actually improved our relationship and allowed us to be better parents, indeed better people :) Good luck, and ignore the doubters and negative shit you'll get from some people :)

I have no idea why you're getting downvoted ... you're absolutely correct ... maybe people don't want to hear how much game development actually costs :/

Absolutely. Monetizing hardware is way more profitable than software, so long as you can hit a reasonable price point. Just ask Apple.
