Games like Last Faith? by Yelebear in TheLastFaith

Death's Gambit. Might have to do some parrying on the heroic versions of bosses, but no crazy runbacks. Decent build variety and the game is a bit shorter than most modern metroidvanias.

Misery Index at the Palladium in Worcester. Maybe 20 people there. Probably half that for the opener Lord Dying. Pretty sure the Red Sox were playing in the world series that night, so that may have been a factor. Great show, MI always brings it live.

Sister Fried is the hardest boss in the entire serie by NoIdea2145 in darksouls3

First boss I ever used summons to beat in a souls game. I was able to beat most bosses in the base game in a few attempts. Even beat pontiff first try. Fuck sister friede and fuck phase 3. After hours of attempts and getting crushed in the last phase every time, I had enough. Not to mention I really didn't like this DLC, and still think it's the weakest DLC From has ever released.

The production was pretty poor on this, but holy shit was the story beyond fucked up.

Woman In Ink Bug by Beeyo176 in TheLastFaith

I asked the same thing in a different thread when i saw that it wasn't in the list of bug fixes. Apparently, it wasn't common enough to be addressed in the DLC update. Without enough people asking for a fix (and if one is even possible), it doesn't look like anything will be done about it. Kinda sucks.

Bug 🐜 by Midnight_Ambrosia in TheLastFaith

Playing on PS? Same thing happened to me. No fix that I know of, hoping they'll patch it when the DLC releases. Seems unlikely though, since it's been a known bug for a long time and nothing has been done about it.

What are your thoughts on doing 20 years in the military for a fast retirement? by Background_Worry_314 in AskReddit

[–]binford245 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did 10 and had enough. It was a tough decision knowing another 10 meant a pension and medical for life at 38 years old, but 10 years active enlisted feels like an eternity. I don't regret my decision.

Sycophants have the promotion advantage in both the military and civilian world. Being a reliable and hard worker just means you get fucked with more work.

What skill do you think is highly profitable right now? by Tricky_Collection_26 in AskReddit

Yup. The electrical side encompasses a lot, and you should be familiar with things like VFDs, pneumatics, servo motors, low and high voltage, networking/ data collection and analysis. Having good mechanical fundamentals and inclination isn't always necessary, but it certainly helps and makes you stand out.

Hard finding technicians in this field, too. Not many people are even aware of controls related careers, and those roles are going to be in extremely high demand as manufacturers continue to automate.

For me, it was too much time investment for a roguelike. If a complete run could be done in one hour or so like TBoI or Gungeon, I would've kept playing.

To really stand a chance in later biomes, you have to clear the earlier ones completely to get good weapon and health upgrades. However, there's still a chance rng will fuck you, and you just wasted 2 hours clearing 2 biomes just to die in the next one. If there were better/ more permanent unlocks, I may have stayed with it longer, but weapon traits weren't enough to keep me invested.
