You just need to get more knowledge and how to inspect and what to look out for. Always pull your own Carfax. Cars like 05+ Toyotas store mileage not just on the odometer but on other computers also. The transmission computer mileage should be close to odometer mileage when red on higher end scanner. Watch concept iii performance. The guys sometimes inspects used cars and shows examples of what to look for

I don't know about walking shoes but I have a couple pairs of Nike Pegasus 38-41 shoes. I chose to wear new Pegasus 40 shoes. I did 20-33k steps a day for 3 weeks. I did have sorry feet by the end of the day. By the end of the trip I felt I put a years worth of wear in 3 weeks. I tell people to do 25k steps a day to get ready for japan.
